Reported by: kronon@… Owned by:
Priority: high Milestone: WifiDog Auth Server 2.0
Component: Gateway and Auth server Version: Gateway 20090925

Description

If non authorized user first of all try to get access to some URL with non-standart port, for example:  http://177.77.77.77:8040 wifi gateway no redirected user brawser to Auth server. User browser wait of respond and then show messages about timeout. There isn't problems if we use standart port:  http://177.77.77.77:80 or without port:  http://177.77.77.77 One info more: there isn't problem for already authorized user, in this case port no matter, all works good. Thank you.

I think this is common behavior for any hotspot. Firewall rule has setup only for standard ports. So user have to try common page first.
