Description

Hi, all

I have installed wifidog auth server & gateway on my Ubuntu 8.04 box, configured also, with the steps given, but now issue is that, i was administrating auth server, through it's URL,

and configured node & network id, now i think something wrong happened, and it's login page giving error, so i would like to know what is Node ID & Network ID, stands for, and as i have seen in the previous version these things can be configured from wifidog.conf, but now in this new version, it can be configured from wifidog auth page, not from wifidog.conf, so what Node ID & Network ID means, also take a look at the errors i am getting on the login page, because of which i am not able to login, & my wifidog gateway in functioning properly, as it is redirecting clients to the portal.

Detailed error was: Uncaught Exception The network with id could not be found in the database (0) thrown in file /var/www/wifidog-auth/wifidog/classes/Network.php, line 361

#0 /var/www/wifidog-auth/wifidog/classes/Network.php(90): Network->construct() #1 /var/www/wifidog-auth/wifidog/classes/Authenticator.php(81): Network::getObject() #2 /var/www/wifidog-auth/wifidog/classes/Authenticators/AuthenticatorLocalUser.php(77): Authenticator->construct() #3 [internal function]: AuthenticatorLocalUser?->construct() #4 [internal function]: ReflectionClass?->newInstance() #5 /var/www/wifidog-auth/wifidog/classes/Network.php(665): call_user_func_array(Array, Array) #6 /var/www/wifidog-auth/wifidog/classes/Authenticator.php(158): Network->getAuthenticator() #7 /var/www/wifidog-auth/wifidog/login/index.php(258): Authenticator::getLoginUI() #8 {main}

yes, i would like to know how this was resolved too and where the solution is in the mailing list???

successfully deploying has been a pain and documentation seems very hard to find.

in gods name will somebody please answer these questions? I am having the same problem, gateway configured, redirecting to the login page but the login page gives this error, seen above. I also get an other error when trying to change network parameters (when trying to set the network default, it says that a column does not exist in the networks relations).

if this can be found on the mailing list, please point to it because i personally cant find it.

Do you a space or a special char in the network ID or Node ID fields? If so, create a new network/node that does not contain them...
