The Postal Code Search tool doesn't work anymore

Possible causes are : - problems in Wifidog's php code - problems in GoogleMap? API - or both of them

As far as i know, the problem is probably a (light) change(s) of Google's API, so that the Wifidog's php code is now inactive...

This maybe because of where you are from, e.g. it seems that wifidog wont Geocode for anywhere apart from Canada and the USA, and is set to Canada by default in Geocoder.php.

As geocoding is now avalible in most of europe, this should probably be added.

How about a "more general" geocoder based on google map geocoding feature?

 This is what I'm developing for an Italian project.

Isn't yet finished and "search by address" is very rough, but it works!
If you want to try it, you'll need also  this and  this patches.

I've also noticed a bug in hotspots_status_map.js: this.markers.length is always zero because this.markers is an associative array.  Here is how this issue is resolved.
