Patch in order to find user by either username or email. Also added read only input box to the users profile showing their registered email.

Original Text: I would like to be able to find a person by their email address.

Unfortunately, the patch caused problems with detecting if it is the username or email is a duplicate when signing up. You really need a new getUserByUsernameOrEmail() function

Humm, I think your patch ignores the network that is selected in the user interface. In fact, it'S not even passed to your function now!

E-mail address and user name can be saved in the Preferences.


Action
as closed
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'
