Is it possible to get wifidog to Auth against a RADIUS server only?

This is a standard Auth procedure you seem to have completely overlooked.

This also allows things like any backend data storage from plain text file to sql/db and/or LDAP. It also allows for the use of the builtin methods to be used for full AAA implimentation.

This is the same as Chillispot (no longer available) or Coova chilli.

I look forward to your comments.

The wifidog gateway is a ultra-thin, flexible client designed to display all it's UI from a remote auth server and do all authentication there. As such, it does not, and will not auth directly against a RADIUS server. In addition to these design reasons, several open source products already do what you want, and we have no interest in competing with them, unless that would somehow bring additional developers onboard.

Off course, RADIUS is one of the supported authenticators of the auth-server.
