Dropdown Javascript menus don't retract in Internet Explorer

Description

The Javascript menus (such as Find Hotspots, Network administration, Node administration...) do not retract. Once activated, they stick, pile up on each other and obscure page content. This happens in Internet Explorer 6 (6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254). Auth server revision: 1279 on CentOS 4.5, php version 5.1.6 release 3.el4s1.7

I have the same problem with Javascript menus ... which don't retract and stay off on the main screen !
