pppoe does not work on wifidog

good day, i'm a technician at zap quebec in quebec city, i have a problem with an install using pppoe, i configure the router to use pppoe with the username and password of my client account and when using the ssh console to ping the internet it works, if i try to connect with a browser to any website, its fails, and can't even see the zap quebec auth system, which works if i plug in my laptop straight to the adsl modem, i don't know if there is a bug or not, i'm using wifidog 1.1.3 beta 6, if anything please contact me

Hi update, NAT doesn't seem to work with pppoe, tested with a dhcp enabled bell adsl modem and works 100% but when testing with normal adsl, seem to be openwrt problem, but would investigate patches into system

PPPOE is used at hundred's of sites. From your description your router isn't routing at all, which make it unlikely it's a wifidog problem. Check with wifidog off, if it works with wifidog off, and not with wifidog on, reopen the ticket and attack the output of running: wifidog -f d7
