kept having the same issue. Changing the default setting causes this.

Authenticator parameters 'default-network' The explicit parameters to be passed to the authenticator. Example: 'my_network_id', '', 1812, 1813, 'secret_key', 'CHAP_MD5'

You have to leave it as 'default-network'

Took me three reinstalls to finally figure this out. Probably should be mentioned somewhere ;-)

Same problem, found same solution, but most important point is the lack of documentation as to what the Authenticator parameters is used for. What is the setting related to, AND the difficulty in tracking down such errors using the error info generated. Perhaps there should be a list of variables that could be consulted.
