Description (last modified by benoitg) (diff)

Priority for all the groups (ISF, Maxspot, NYC, etc)

This is a two part feature. The first part is to build a proper mail inderection service within wifidog so that the privacy of the user's email adress is preserved, even from administrators.

Once done, this will allow:

-User to user communication (through profiles) -Node owner to user communication -Network owner to user communication

(The last two through a query interface similar to the Statistics engine)

Speaking with Rich MacKinnon? (Austin City Wireless) at NS4CWN, he mentioned a great feature that his current software provides: Allowing a node owner to send out an email to certain node users.

Requirements:

  • node owners don't get access to email addresses
  • email is sent under name of venue
  • only sent to users who have been to venue (used venue's hotspot) in the past 30 days
