There is a wiki page dedicated to the design of this feature: wiki:doc/developer/NetworkOpenHours
Well, this has been asked for quite a lot ...
There are venues like bars or restaurants which don't want to provide WLAN access at specific times because they have high traffic. For example they don't want to let "geeks" surfing in the net blocking space in their venue on a friday or saturday night.
First I was thinking about doing that via cron directly on the router (wifi down / wifi up), but instead we could just add this feature to the auth server.
It could block send the gateway a flag, that access to the internet is blocked during specific times.
Advantages would be portability (feature available to every gateway platform and therefor a feature of WiFiDog itself) and the content of the venue / node could still be prodcasted.
